I recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix for my girlfriend as a birthday present and when she opened it, bright-eyed and happy, we noticed that it never came with a battery, though it was suppose to. When I returned it to the store, they told me this wasn’t the first time someone brought back a Nikon camera without a battery.
I wonder how often this has happened. I know I’ve never run into this problem with my Canon cameras… maybe it’s a Nikon thing, which is kinda of bad news for them since they are currently in a war with Canon.
