Everyone has a specific subject they enjoy snapping pictures of above anything else. People? Animals? Random objects? Scenery? Birds? Self Portraits? Let’s hear it!

Personally, I really enjoy taking pictures of animals (Dogs, Cats, Horses mainly). They are so real, you capture some of the best moments.

In general, I like portrait photography… and I think I’m getting a little better at it. I put my camera on Aperture Priority, set the aperture as wide as possible, and then zoom right in tight on the subject (if I’m using a zoom.)

I’d say most of my pictures in my flickr account are done that way. And almost all are of my favorite subject, Malgosia! Here’s an example:

Nice photo. Showcasing Victoria and the rare occasion that it actually snows rather than rains.

I love to photograph landscape, especially when I am on vacation. One of these days I am going to get myself a nice camera that is better at taking landscape photos.

I am going to try to post some photos, but I am not sure I actually know how to post…..so I may be re-posting once I learn!

Hilton Head, South Carolina

Cinque Terre, Italy

Kauai, Hawaii

Galway, Ireland

You do the following: You add the URL address of the photo (add to flickr first) and put ! (an exclamation mark) before and after the url address.

Join flickr to get the URL address first. You can download your photos from your desktop to flickr in order to get the URL address. Don’t forget to add an exclamation mark before and after the URL address making sure you don’t add any spaces.

Thank you. It was taken two years ago. Here some more of those rare moments:

I’m very much a snap and shooter of random things that take my fancy. A recent shot was a random Pirates Flag on a buildin gin Southampton. My other half generally shoots snowboarding (while I snowboard), so I sometimes shoot riders while he takes a break….I’m pretty hit and miss with his camera though, way too many buttons for my liking

I find i am taking lots of pictures of my kids. They are readily available, they have unlimited time. They do funny stuff. I own the copyright.

I have also been doing alot of action photography ….. next time you see kids snowboarding or skateboarding see if they mind you snapping pictures. The great thing is they will do the same moves in the same spots over and over ….so wether it is a jump they are hitting or a curb that they are sliding there is always something cool to capture. cheers scott
